New Edition is one of the most influential R&B groups of all time.

They have sold over 20 million albums worldwide.

Their members are Ronny Devoe, Michael Bivins, Ricky Bell,  Johnny Gill, Ralph Tresvant, and Bobby Brown.

To speak of how much talent the group possessed,  all of their solo careers were very successful.

Here are my 3 favorite New Edition songs, in no particular order:

Can You Stand The Rain all-time classic!

My all-time second favorite song of theirs:

“If It Isn’t Love”

And this was back in 2004 when they signed with Puffy and he tried to give them “hip hop” flavor, needless to say, their time together wasn’t long, but I did like this song a lot:

Today we recognize New Edition for Black Music Month.
