World-renowned figure skater Rory Flack is balancing the responsibilities of starring on a reality TV show with coaching young ice skaters.

Flack is the first African American woman to win the US Open Professional Figure Skating Championships. She currently stars in WEtv’s “Breaking The Ice” series, which sees Flack spearheading Team DMV, the first all-diverse, competitive synchronized skating team striving to make it to the Ice Sports Industry’s (ISI) national championship, per a news release.
