Wendy Williams has been transparent about her journey through drug abuse. After returning to her talk show last week following a two-month health-related hiatus she and her family’s Hunter Foundation partnered with treatment center T.R.U.S.T. to launch the national resource hotline: 1-888-5HUNTER (1-888-548-6837). It’s 24-hour nationwide hotline, staffed with professional recovery coaches, who are prepared and trained to offer treatment resources to help those suffering from substance abuse and need help.
HAS JUSSIE SMOLLETT DRAMA GIVEN FOX SECOND THOUGHTS ABOUT RENEWING FOR A SIXTH SEASON?
Possibly. Production sources say anxiety is high among the “Empire” cast and crew, because Fox has yet to renew the show for a sixth season. People who’ve been working on the show for years say they should’ve heard one way or another by now. In years past, Fox typically renewed the showed in January. Word on the Curb is if Fox does renew, execs have serious reservations about Jussie’s return.
The latest update on the case: Grand jury brought a 16-count indictment against him. So for nearly two months, the reports have been the $3500 check made out to the brothers was payment for their role in the staged attacked. But now the brothers confirm the check was, in fact, for a training program. There is an on-going investigation of the Chicago Police Department’s investigation and false reporting of the case and this definitely doesn’t look good. Did the police lie about the brothers testimony or did the brother’s lie?
GEORGE FOREMAN’S DAUGHTER DEATH IS BEING CALLED A “SUICIDE”
The Harris County Coroner’s Office just listed Foreman’s death as “asphyxia by hanging.” Freeda Foreman, died of an apparent suicide. It appears she hanged herself. A final determination on the cause of death will be made by a coroner, but law enforcement sources seing how no foul play is suspected, all signs point to a hanging.
SINGER JAHEIM HAS A NEW JOB
It is being reported by several blogs that one-time R&B star Jaheim apparently has some serious career/money challenges and is now an Uber driver. An Instagram user named Gordon Davis said he got the surprise of his life when he called for anUber app over the weekend.When his Uber driver pulled up in front of his hotel in Atlanta, Davis was surprised to see R&B crooner Jaheim being the wheel.
