Grace Jones Quits “James Bond” Film

Production of the highly anticipated 25th installment of the iconic James Bond film series has been riddled with setbacks! From production crew turnovers, injuries, and even an explosion! Last month during one of the controlled explosions it damaged the set. Thankfully, no injuries on set, however a crew member, off set, suffered a minor injury.

So this just in…Grace Jones quit her role in the film. Word on the Curb is she made a dramatic exit once she was told her role would be smaller than anticipated. For her arrival on set they rolled out the red carpet to make her feel welcomed. But Grace wasn’t here for the scrap of a role they had for her so she made a grand entrance and a grand exit!

Upset for Venus Williams at Wimbledon

Yesterday, Venus was defeated by 15 year old, Cori Gauff of Delray Beach, defeated Venus Williams in the first round. Cori Gauff is the youngest woman to win in the first round of ladies’ singles Wimbledon since 1991. She fought hard for 79 minutes and broke down in tears when she won.  After shocking herself defeating a 6 time Wimbledon champion and former No. 1 tennis star.

“This is the first time I ever cried after winning a match. I never thought this would happen. I don’t know how to explain it. I’m literally living my dream”

Cori said when Venus shook her hand she told her congratulations and to keep going, and good luck.  She thanked Venus, and said she wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for her.

Tina Turner Talks Finding Peace After Son’s Tragic

It is no secret Tina Turner’s life has been filled with turbulence, especially violence she endured at the hands of her ex-husband Ike Turner. But unfortunately, her tragedies didn’t end after she and her split from Ike Turner. Last July, her son Craig, took his life.

Tina also survived a stroke, intestinal cancer and kidney failure. She said her husband, Erwin Bach, who is 16 yeas her junior, stepped in to help and offered her his kidney.

Tina says: 

“I have everything. When I sit at the Lake Zurich in the house that I have, I am so serene. No problems. I had a very hard life. But I didn’t put blame on anything or anyone. I got through it, I lived through it with no blame. And I’m a happy person.”
