Over the weekend, The Black Chamber Of Commerce held its 11th annual Ascension Awards where prominent African American Americans and Business Owners in Palm Beach County were honored.

Commissioner Mack Bernard received the Dicky Sykes Luminary Award.

The Nonprofit Public Sector award went to Christine Sylvan CEO of Path To College, and the emerging black business award went to Dr. Deeawn Roundtree of Roundtree training and consulting.

Also congratulations to Keshia Patrick CEO of Mane Life Studios who picked up the 2023 Distinguished Business Of The Year.

The President’s Award went to Marlon White the President of Palm Beach County’s Black business investment corporation.

The Young Professional Award went to Brittani Millington of BM Design and Leontyne Brown of Pretty Girls Vote won the award for the Social Justice Advocate Award at the 2023 Ascension Awards.
