When you count on a live audience to feed hosts energy, it can be hard to muster the same excitement when studios are empty. Citing the growing number of cases coronavirus in New York state, TV shows that normally tape in front of live audiences in New York City – from Kelly & Ryan to Wendy Williams – are going forward this week without their usual fans. Instead, some shows have filled seats with show’s crew members to cheer them on in the public’s absence.
