After days of unexpected events, Polo G closed out the week with an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden Wednesday night.

The Chicago rapper spoke with Corden about sponsoring a youth basketball team in his hometown, and his recently released album, Hall of Fame. Polo also performed his new song, “So Real.”

“Say she is the truth, say she is so real / And I love the way that you make me feel / When it’s time to show affection again / Look her in her eyes like, “You’re mine,” that’s no lie,” Polo raps.

Polo G’s Late Late Show performance follows a video release for his other Hall of Fame single, “Party Lyfe,” featuring DaBaby. It finds both rappers throwing a massive party at a mansion in Beverly Hills, where the neighbors join in on the festivities.

As previously reported, Polo G was arrested last Saturday following a Hall of Fame release party in Miami. The 22-year-old was released on bond and charged with multiple alleged offenses, including resisting arrest, battery on an officer, and criminal mischief.
