A$AP Ferg returns to release the official music video for his “Move Ya Hips” collaboration with Nicki Minaj and MadeinTYO

None of the artists are featured in the Issac Rentz-directed short film created around the song, which features a dark, twisted spin after a man in “freak mode” orders a female sexbot to his home. Following a few encounters in the bedroom, things take a turn for the worse: His fantasy becomes his nightmare when the sexbot aims a few shots to end his life.

“Move Ya Hips” was released last month with a jazzercise-style visual to follow A$AP Ferg’s “Mazel Tov” collaboration with IDK. This is the second collaboration for Ferg and Nicki since their 2017 remix of “Plain Jane.

After landing at #19 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 singles chart, the Barbz started the #ASAPFergIsOverParty on Twitter. Fans blamed Ferg for the song not debuting at #1 like Nicki’s lastest collaborations, including her controversial reunion on “Trollz” with Tekashi 6ix9ine and on the remix of Doja Cat’s “Say So” hit.  Other fans felt the song was still a win for placing in the top 20.
