US House District 20 special primary election, municipal elections

Polls will be open in Indian River and Palm Beach counties Tuesday for municipal offices and the special primary election of U.S. House District 20.

Because SB 90 went into effect, there are new voting changes in place. To see the changes, click here.

Voters are asked to social distance and wear masks while at their polling sites.

Palm Beach County: U.S. House District 20 special primary election

The U.S. House District 20 special primary election is to fill the vacant seat of Democratic Rep. Alcee Hastings.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. To find your precinct, click here.

Early voting ended Sunday, with about 10.7% of voters turning out, according to the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections website. That equates to 10,800 out of the 101,325 eligible voters.

About 79.7% of the early votes cast are from Democratic voters, according to the PBC Supervisor of Elections website.

Those who requested ballots through the mail can drop them off at four locations tomorrow during voting hours:

  • Belle Glade: 2976 State Road – 15, Second Floor
  • Delray Beach: 345 S. Congress Ave., Room #103
  • Palm Beach Gardens: 3188 PGA Blvd., Room #2401
  • West Palm Beach: 240 S. Military Trail

The special general election will be on Jan. 11, 2022. The voter registration deadline is Dec. 13, 2021.

Palm Beach County: Highland Beach municipal election

There will be one question on the ballot for the Town of Highland Beach.

Polls will be open on Nov. 2 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

There will be two charter amendments on the ballot. To find your precinct, click here.

Indian River County: City of Sebastian municipal elections

There will be three council member spots on the ballot for the city of Sebastion.
