Good news to share if you are looking for a job.

According to a new report, unemployment among African Americans is at a record low.

The Bureau Of Labor Statistics shows that the Black unemployment rate declined to 5 percent in March and even better, 5.7 percent in February.

President Biden applauds the “good jobs report”  that reportedly shows a nearly 50-year low for the national unemployment rate of 3.5 percent.

The report also shows a record-low rate for African Americans.

Biden praised the numbers by saying:

“Thanks to the policies we have put in place, the recovery is creating good jobs that you can raise a family on, which is pulling more Americans into the labor force.”
