Ty Dolla $ign & Nicki Minaj flexes on their "Expensive" taste in new music video

Ty Dolla $ign tapped Nicki Minaj to flex about their “Expensive” taste on the latest single from his upcoming album, Dream House. 

To accompany the single, the rappers dropped a Roman Laurent-directed visual, which sees Ty at his luxurious mansion with his girlfriend, after a whimsical shopping spree perhaps for Dior clothing, a new Mercedes Benz or a diamond-encrusted watch that costs at least $15,000. 

“Imma take my girl to Dior this week/ All my [chicks] slim thick and athletic/ She ain’t my girl if she ain’t got a Patek/ All my [chicks] gotta fit my aesthetic,” Ty raps.

Nicki, who’s expecting her first child with her husband Kenneth Petty, also makes an appearance in the video in front of a three-way mirror to let her man know love does cost a thing.

“If we go on a date, gotta blow on my cake/ But don’t hit me if it’s Tiny, girl from Xscape/ These studs for my ears, Louis scarf for my hairs/ Latest bag from Chanel and I ain’t tryna wait,” she raps.

This marks the third collab for Ty Dolla $ign and Nicki after teaming up on Megan Thee Stallion‘s “Hot Girl Summer” last year and on Jason Derulo‘s  “Swalla” in 2017, which both landed on Billboard‘s Hot 100 list.
