Tropical Depression Cristobal has been nearly stationary over the southwestern Gulf of Mexico, but is forecast to begin moving north Saturday.

Cristobal is forecast to regain Tropical Storm strength and increase winds to near 60-65 mph,then it will move north through the Gulf of Mexico and towards Louisiana on Sunday night.

Right now, landfall will be over New Orleans on Sunday night and Monday morning as a Tropical Storm. There is no threat to Florida.
