Last week, Tory Lanez dropped off his single “F.E.E.L.S,” featuring Chris Brown, and now he’s ready to release a full-length R&B album.

On Wednesday, the Canadian rapper shared the cover art and release date for his second capsule album, the follow-up to his 2020 rap album, Loner.

“Here it is! The cover of the R&B capsule entitled, Playboy. This will drop March 5th,” wrote Tory in the caption on Instagram. “This project is a movie.”

Tory said he will comment on the post of any fan who shares the cover art on their Instagram profile.

In recent months, Tory Lanez has teased themed capsule projects, starting with Loner, which was released last December. That 10-song rap project features appearances from 42 Dugg, Lil Wayne, Swae Lee, Rich The KidLil Wayne and Tyga on “Shameless.” It also features artist Melii and rapperVV$ KEN, both of whom are signed to Tory’s label, One Umbrella.

Specifically, Tory was charged with one felony count each of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, personal use of a firearm and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle. If convicted, he faces a maximum prison sentence of 22 years and eight months.
