Toni Braxton Transitions to Plant-Based Diet to Fight Lupus Grammy-winning artist Toni Braxton has adopted a plant-based diet in order to help with her Lupus diagnosis.  Braxton says she’s been transitioning to a plant-based lifestyle but she still “misses a good burger.”  “I was petrified, depressed, and scared, but I realized I had to change my life. I may have lupus, but I decided I was not going to be a victim,” Braxton told Prevention Magazine.
