Check out this great “Throwback” when gospel legend Yolanda Adams showed off her astounding vocals at the 18th annual BET Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday (June 24), paying tribute to Anita Baker, who was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the big event.
The 56-year-old “First Lady” of gospel sang Baker’s hit “You Bring Me Joy,” wowing the audience as she hit every note perfectly. While she wasn’t nominated this year, Adams is a three-time winner of BET’s best gospel artist award (2012, 2002 and 2003).
