A new study released earlier this week from the CDC showed that between 1999 and 2020, African Americans experienced almost 2 million fatalities compared to Caucasians.
Reportedly, the main factors include heart disease in both black women and men and cancer in black men.
The study also says that in 2020, deaths from COVID-19 accounted for the highest mortality rate among Black men.
