Teyana Taylor‘s third studio project, THE ALBUM, arrives this week on Juneteenth, featuring a lineup of heavyweight music artists.
The 23-track album will be separated into five different “studios” that spell out ALBUM.
Taylor’s biggest features on the album include Missy Elliot, Erykah Badu, Davido, Future, Big Sean, King Combs, and her husband, Iman Shumpert. But no guest is bigger than the couple’s four-year-old daughter, Junie, who appears on for “Come Back to Me,” also featuring Rick Ross.
Teyana’s also trying to figure out whom to fire from her team after her “We Got Love” collaboration with Lauryn Hill wasn’t mentioned on the original Instagram announcement on Tuesday.
“[I’m] trying [to] figure out who at the building [is] getting fired for forgetting to add Ms. Lauryn Hill to my track listing (as I sing you about to lose yo job),” she wrote in a revised Instagram post.
That latter reference was about the viral “Lose Yo Job” video of a black woman named Johnniqua Charles, who broke out into a freestyle rap performance while being detained in handcuffs by a police officer earlier this month.
2020 is expected to be a big year for Taylor, with The ALBUM release, and her announcement last week of her second pregnancy with Iman during the music video for her song “Wake Up Love.” Teyana also will release her cosmetics collection with MAC next month.
