SZA wants to get a one thing straight after Drake revealed that they used to date. And, coincidentally it has to do with the date. 

In the 33-year-old Canadian rapper’s new collaboration with 21 Savage and Metro Boomin, he raps: “Yeah, said she wanna [expletive] to some SZA, wait / Cause I used to date SZA back in ’08.”

But, according to the “Love Galore” singer, 29, Drake actually got the year wrong.

“So It was actually 2009 lol,” SZA tweeted Sunday night. 

“In this case a year of poetic rap license mattered lol I think he jus innocently rhymed 08 w wait,” she explained. “Anybody who really knows me and was around during this time can confirm.. it’s all love all peace.”

In 2008, Drake would have been around 21, while SZA just 17, which is why she felt the need to clear up a few things. 

“I just didn’t want anybody thinking anything underage or creepy was happening,” she added in a second tweet. “Completely innocent. Lifetimes ago.”
