“Supervisor Of Elections” Offering $100 Incentives To Poll Workers!

Vote

Early voting begins Monday in Palm Beach County.

On Friday, Supervisor of Elections Wendy Sartory Link spoke about what her office is doing to make sure early voting and the General Election go on without a hitch.

The election is 18 days away. Link said more than 463,000 voters in Palm Beach County requested ballots to vote-by-mail., or about 40 percent of all registered voters in the county. Link said of that number, about 45 percent of the ballots have been returned.

Link said there’s no specific deadline to return those ballots, but advised to do it early and allow 7-10 days for it to get to the Supervisor of Elections office. Postage on those mailings is paid for.

The county now has four secure ballot drop boxes, one at each main office in West Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, Delray Beach and Belle Glade. They will have 24-hour video surveillance and be monitored by security teams.

The Supervisor of Elections Office is also looking for poll workers and hopes a $100 incentive helps bring more people to help out on election day.

Early voting begins Monday, Oct. 19, and runs through Sunday, Nov. 1. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
