Summer Walker and SZA are both working on their sophomore albums. But it looks like the R&B powerhouses may also be cooking up new music together.
Early Tuesday morning, Walker shared an Instagram photo of herself and SZA leaning against a sound board with their butts and backs pointed towards the camera.
While the caption didn’t provide any details, fans in the comments shared their excitement over a potential collaboration between Top Dawg Entertainment’s first lady and the Over It singer.
“We Getting a SZA and Summer track?” wrote one fan, while another said, “The collab I’ve been waiting for.”
Neo-soul queen Erykah Badu dropped three fire emojis in the comments, while male R&B duo dvsnwrote, “Dear men: we in trouble.”
Summer Walker’s forthcoming album will follow up her criticallyacclaimed debut, Over It, which was the highest-charting debut album for a female R&B artist in 2019. Meanwhile, SZA earned five Grammy nominations for her 2017 debut, CTRL, including Best Urban Contemporary Album.
