West Palm Beach voters returned an incumbent and added one new face to the five-member city commission.

Sickle Cell Foundation CEO Shalonda Warren beat Florida Atlantic University Instructor Deandre Poole by 55% to 45% for the District 2 city commission seat.

She counts herself as an advocate for development of top-tier office towers such as One Flagler, proposed near the downtown waterfront, because she says such structures are needed to attract companies and jobs.
