Sergio Brown In Custody After Mother’s Death Former NFL player Sergio Brown is in custody in connection with his mother’s death last month. Brown had been missing since Sept. 16th, when the body of 73-year-old Myrtle Brown was found near a creek behind her home outside Chicago. Brown was spotted in Mexico and deported to the U.S. this week.  Mexican authorities say they’ve known his whereabouts since Sept. 19th. Earlier this week, Brown posted to X about ‘fake news’. Brown played seven years in the NFL with a number of teams.
