Senator Tim Scott, the lone Republican African American Presidential candidate from South Carolina announced Sunday on FOX that he is suspending his presidential campaign.
Scott started his campaign in May and was once viewed as a strong candidate to oppose former President Trump, but as polls show, if the presidential election were as recently as November 10th, Scott would only receive 2% of the vote.
There are only four candidates left for the Republican nomination.
The number of candidates left in the Republican field are Governor Ron Desantis, Nikki Haley, Vivek Ramaswamy, and Chris Christie.
Former President Donald Trump remains the GOP front-runner.
