Despite President Donald Trump telling his representatives on Tuesday to “stop negotiating” on another coronavirus relief package until after the election, it looks like he changed his mind. This upset many people and even both Republicans and Democrats denounced the decision and urged him to return to the negotiating table. After receiving backlash, just hours later, Donald Trump tweeted: “If I am sent a Stand Alone Bill for Stimulus Checks ($1,200), they will go out to our great people IMMEDIATELY. I am ready to sign right now. Are you listening Nancy?Congressional leaders are now working on a potential package. There is no word yet on if Congress will forge ahead with a standalone bill, but if they do, another round of stimulus checks will be sent out to the American people.
