A new R&B record label called Love Records has been launched by Sean “Diddy” Combs as well as a one-album agreement with Motown Records. Musicians, producers, and songwriters of the highest caliber will form a collective for the new label, which will focus on R&B releases. Combs’ comeback to the music industry has been made official with this announcement. The Love Records imprint’s debut release is Diddy’s LP. After a successful 30-year career, the three-time GRAMMY Award-winning executive will finally join forces with Motown Records to release the project this summer. A return to the love of music is what motivates Daddy to start his own label, Love Records, with the goal of creating his best work to date. “I want to work with the next generation of artists and producers to create classic R&B records for the label.”
