Don’t expect Saweetie to give a gift back after a relationship goes south. 

“I mean…If it’s mine, it’s mine,” she said in the cover story for her recent Complex cover.

The interviewer notes that the “Back to the Streets” rapper was rocking a mint-green Birkin bag that was gifted by her ex, Quavo, at the time of the question, proof of Saweetie’s stance on the topic. 

However, it seems her ex doesn’t feel the same way. Following their breakup, there were rumors that theMigos rapper sent a repo man to take back the blue Bentley he had gifted Saweetie. He even seemed to reference the incident in his newly released song, “Having Our Way.”

Exes and gifts aside, Saweetie also discussed her craft — music — and being inspired by Tupac. She also shared that she’d like to work with J.Cole “on production.”
