If lawmakers in San Franciso have their way, African Americans will receive $5 million dollars in lump sum payments for reparations.
According to the Associated Press, the board of supervisors in the northern California city is looking to recommend eliminating tax issues and personal debt.
The way they see this happening is by giving out guaranteed annual incomes of at least $97,000 to a “yet to be determined” number of African Americans for 250 years.
Yet to be determined?
Confused?
I am definitely confused, but we’ll see how this all plays out and if I will be moving to San Francisco or not.
