How to Get Away with Murder‘s Rome Flynn is gearing up for his next role in Netflix’s Raising Dion.
According to Deadline, the Daytime Emmy-winner will play the protective Tevin Wakefield, a former long-distance runner and Olympic track coach who becomes Dion’s trainer and mentor in the series’ second season.
Based on the comic book by Dennis Liu, Raising Dion is one of the most popular Netflix series that made its debut in 2019. Fans enjoyed following the story of Nicole, played by Alisha Wainwright, raising her son, Dion, played by Ja’Siah Young, who develops “mysterious, superhero-like abilities.”
Flynn joins the season two cast along with rising actress Aubriana Davis, Sweet Magnolias‘ Tracey Bonner, and P-Valley‘s Josh Ventura. Other returning series regulars include Sammy Haney, Jazmyn Simon, Ali Ahn and Griffin Robert Faulkner.
Since How to Get Away with Murder concluded its sixth and final last season last May, Rome Flynn has embarked on his emerging music career, releasing singles such as “Keep Me in Mind” and “Drunk with You.”
