Rihanna is kicking off Black History Month with a little bit of shade towards Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron.
On Monday, February 1, Cameron shared a minute-long video to Twitter in honor of the historical month ahead and encouraged people to “take time to remember and celebrate the contributions Black men and women have made to our Commonwealth and to our nation.”
“Through the course of our country, there are countless examples of Black men and women whose talents, contributions and determination have altered the fabric of our nation and put us on a path toward building a more perfect union,” he said in the pre-recorded message.
However, as much as Cameron may have wanted to focus on the days ahead, Rihanna reminded him of his decision to not charge the Louisville officers who shot and killed Breonna Taylor while she lay asleep in her home.
In response to the clip, the Fenty Beauty founder tweeted, “Sup [dude]? #JusticeforBreonnaTaylor.”
