It’s been less than a month since the explosive three-part reunion of Bravo’s Real Housewives of Atlanta. Now, while the series is currently on hiatus, RHOA‘s Kandi Burruss is speaking out about the blowout argument between her and NeNe Leakes and the possibility of Phaedra Parks making a return.
“We haven’t spoken since the reunion,” Burruss tells ABC Audio, referring to Leakes. “So, I wouldn’t say that we’re cool. I wouldn’t say that we hate each other either.”
During the heated reunion, Burruss and Leakes argued over their relevancy on the show. Burruss later explained that most of their issues stemmed from a private text message exchange about NeNe’s shady comments. While the two battled it out during the reunion, NeNe appeared to want to reconcile when she later wished Burruss a happy birthday on social media.
“It’s not like I hate her or anything like that,” Burruss continues. “She just get on my nerves sometimes.”
Even with their public feud, Burruss says she’s not opposed to seeing NeNe return– as long as she remains respectful.
“I would give her the energy she gives me. If she comes back and is being nice. Then I’ll be nice,” Burruss says. “If she comes back on the bull… then I’ll be on the bull.”
However, while Burruss says she’s down to see certain castmates for another season, the singer makes clear she’s not interested in seeing one former co-star: Phaedra Parks.
“I wouldn’t be interacting with her at all, so I don’t know how I would be there,” Burruss says. “I just wouldn’t be a part of it that year. I mean, I don’t control anything… But I do have control of me and what I decide or choose to deal with. And that’s just something I’m not going to do.”
