Saturday, Rapids Water Park is set to open its gates in time for spring break. The 2021 season will be 181 days long and the venue will be open daily from March, 13 through April 11.

Rapids said it is following COVID-19 safety guidelines, “To ensure the safest experience for everyone, we also need our guests to help by adhering to social distancing practices, washing and sanitizing hands frequently, and following safety guidelines provided by our trained staff,” said Megrath.

Rapids Water Park COVID-19 Guidelines

• All guest will be screened by answering health safety questions (on signs while approaching the gate)
• Maintain six feet away from other guests
• Blue dots on the ground while waiting for rides signify the space between groups
• Clusters of furniture have been moved six feet away and should not be moved
• Rafts are cleaned by staff after each use
• Masks should be worn when entering the park; when in line at the snack bar, retail store, or bar; and in bathrooms. Due to safety constraints, face coverings are not permitted while in the water or on slides.
