A Publix employee in Boynton Beach tested positive for COVID-19.

The employee works at the store located at 3775 W. Woolbright Road.

Publix says it can’t report cases in real time, so it’s not clear when the confirmation took place. The company says any associate who tests positive with the virus goes on quarantine and receives paid leave for two weeks.

Publix says its stores are cleaned and sanitized regularly, and that the health and safety of customers, associates and communities are a top priority.
