Chicago rapper Polo G decided to pay homage to the late Juice Wrld with a massive tribute tattoo.
The tattoo is located on his upper bicep, showing the a juice straw sticking through a globe with Juice’s signature numbers “999” written across it. Juice previously explained that “999” is contrary to the Satanic symbol, “666,” meaning “the mark of the beast.”
“999 represents taking whatever ill, whatever bad situation, whatever struggle you’re going through and turning it into something positive…to push yourself forward,” he said during a 2018 MTV interview.
The tattoo also paid homage to Polo’s grandmother and was completed by tattoo artist Phor from VH1’s Black Ink Chicago.
Polo is featured on “Hate the Other Side,” from Juice WRLD’s new posthumous album Legends Never Die, which is expected to top the Billboard 200 album chart. The two also collaborated on “Flex” from Polo’s The GOAT album, released earlier this year.
But Polo isn’t the only artist getting Juice’s signature tattooed on them. Pop star Halsey showed off her Juice WRLD tribute tattoo on her hand earlier this month, which features the name of their new collab, “Life’s a Mess.”
Juice Wrld died from an accidental drug overdose last December. He was 21.
