Multi-instrumentalist and vocalist PJ Morton can’t wait to get back on stage before his dedicated fans.
On Tuesday, the R&B singer announced a series of upcoming performances to honor the 100th anniversary of the Tulsa massacre in Oklahoma, plus shows in Memphis and Detroit.
“I CAN’T BELIEVE IT!! We’re about to get back on stage in front of PEOPLE after over a year!” Morton wrote on Instagram. “Starting this Saturday 5/29 with Tulsa, OK!! commemorating 100 years since the Tulsa massacre! Then Memphis 6/5.”
“Issa reunion!” he continued, making a note of his last performance in Memphis before the pandemic in February 2020. “Can’t wait to see and feel y’all’s energy! I miss y’all! Let’s go!!”

Fans are hopeful PJ will perform songs from his latest Grammy-winning album, Gospel According to PJ.His first gospel effort topped Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums chart after its release last August and won a Grammy for Best Gospel Album earlier this year.
