A first assistant district attorney in Bucks County, Pennsylvania has been demoted after he was caught delivering DoorDash during work hours.
Former First Assistant District Attorney Gregg Shore will be replaced by Jennifer Schorn effective March 17, FOX 29 Philadelphia reports.
Bucks County District Attorney Matt Weintraub said the decision was made after Shore “demonstrated very poor judgment” by working his DoorDash side job during normal business hours.
Shore repaid the county the money he earned working for DoorDash while on duty through accrued vacation time, Weintraub confirmed.
“Nevertheless, his actions were thoughtless and demonstrated a lack of leadership,” Weintraub said. “He also violated the trust that I, the other members of the District Attorney’s Office, and the people of Bucks County place in each of us. I have a duty to hold those who violate that trust accountable. No exceptions.”
