
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is mourning the loss of one of its own.
Angela Chavers, 44, died Saturday after battling COVID-19.
D/S Chavers started with the sheriff’s office in September 2002. She worked in the Inmate Management Corrections Division.
She leaves behind a son. She also had legal custody of a niece.
No word yet on funeral arrangements.
The sheriff’s office is asking people to keep her family in your thoughts and prayers.
Chavers is the third deputy from the sheriff’s office to die from the coronavirus.
Deputy Maurice Ford, 50, died in August. Sgt. Diaz Ayala, 38, died in April.
