Palm Beach County Commissioner Melissa McKinlay, hours after testing positive for COVID-19, told fellow commissioners it’s the real thing.
And she invited anyone who didn’t believe in it to join her at home during her quarantine.
“It’ s definitely the real thing,” said McKinlay by phone at Tuesday’s meeting.
McKinlay announced on Twitter she tested positive for the coronavirus.
In September, McKinlay’s youngest daughter was hospitalized with a serious case of coronavirus.
On Monday, the state reported more than 3,300 new cases of COVID-19, with Palm Beach County having 50,816 total cases.
