Over 12,000 New “Coronavirus Cases” Confirmed In “Florida”!

Over 12,000 new coronavirus cases are confirmed in Florida Monday after the state saw yet another single-day new record of over 15,000 new cases over the weekend.

There are 12,624 new cases bringing the state’s total to 282,435 up from 269,811. The new daily positivity rate is up to 11.5 percent from 11.25 percent.

There were also 35 new deaths, bringing Florida’s total deaths up to 4,277 up from 4,242.

Monday saw a lot of announcements made in regards to the surge in coronavirus cases in our area. In St. Lucie County, officials announced a county-wide mask mandate. There were also more hospitals that announced they will be delaying elective surgeries to help accommodate more coronavirus patients.
