Tuesday, Mealy shared screenshots to Instagram that are alleged to show Future texting their son “Your mother is a hoe” and informing him that she needs to buy him new clothes for school.
In another Story update, which remained live on Instagram at the time of this writing, Mealy further accused Future of getting a refund on the clothes out of pettiness. According to Mealy, this was a response to her not wanting to be “sexually active” and instead wanting to co-parent.
“I DO NOT PLAY ABOUT MY KIDS!” she wrote. “I’m a mother first and always [going to] stand up for mine!”
Elsewhere, Mealy also seemingly accused Future of not seeing their son in several months despite being “in the same state.”
The High Off Life artist’s mother, Stephanie Jester, then appeared to chime in by also calling for prayer.
“It’s sad when ppl can’t get their way so they turn to social media for attention,” she said in a Story update. “No matter how much you give a person it’s never enough.”
Mealy responded to this, too, urging Jester to “shut up” and claiming that she had said “behind closed doors” that her son “was wrong.”
Below, see more of how this all played out across Instagram overnight.
This isn’t the first time such an issue has played out publicly for Future. Last year, however, he had publicly kinder words to say about Brittni Mealy and the mothers of his other children. In a Mother’s Day 2020 message, Future thanked Mealy for “holding my PRINCE down” and said her love for her children was “amazing.”
