Four hundred young people are invited to a free National Poetry Month Youth Summit at the Riviera
Beach Marina village.

 

This happens Saturday, April 15th from 9 am to 3 pm.

 

The purpose of the event is to empower and motivate the youth through spoken word and creative writing.

 

They also want to encourage and elevate students with their development of memorization techniques at stage performances, and public speaking skills, and to introduce various writing devices while promoting a positive mental health outlet.
