Megan Thee Stallion has gone into hibernation ahead of hot girl summer.
A futuristic message appeared on the rapper’s Instagram account Thursday, with a special message for her hottie fanbase.
“Megan Thee Stallion is recharging! Due to the demand of the Hot Girl lifestyle has now entered a period of regeneration to prepare for what’s next,” the message reads. “In her absence, management will manage all social posting on behalf of Thee Hot Girl Coach.”
“Thee Hotties lead a brave resistance in anticipation for the return of their Fearless Captain,” it continued.
An animated video also appeared on Megan’s Instagram, which finds her sporting the same red wig and white bodysuit she wore during the photoshoot for her debut album, Good News.
Fans in the comments began suggesting a number of reasons behind Megan’s hiatus, including some who suggested it was to complete a deluxe edition.
“It’s the Good News deluxe, peep the body suit,” one fan wrote, while another wrote, “Okay what video is this [for]? A nod to the Grammy-winner’s alter ego and her 2018 mixtape, another fan said, “Tina Snow is coming.”
Who knows exactly what Thee Stallion has in store, but fans are hoping it’s more Good News and more hot girl anthems like, “Cry Baby,” Movie” and “Body.”
“I’ll be back when it’s time,” Megan tweeted later.
