Trinitee Urban RecordsMusic recorded by Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, LeToya Luckett, and LaTavia Roberson before they were known as Destiny’s Child is now available for the first time.

Prior to changing their name to Destiny’s Child, the group was called Girls Tyme. Beyoncé’s father, Mathew Knowles, released the previously unheard Girls Tyme music on Monday, along with a book telling Destiny Child’s history.

"The day is here! Destiny’s Child: The Untold Story book and album are available everywhere now!,” Knowles commented on Instagram. He also posted Girls Tyme singing a cover of Michael Jackson’s “I Wanna Be Where You,” which Jackson released in 1972 when he was 13 years old.

Knowles formed Girls Tyme in 1992 consisting of Beyoncé, Kelly, LaTavia, Támar Davis and sisters Nikki and Nina Taylor. They performed on Star Search before Tamar and the Taylor sisters were removed in 1993, and LeToya replaced them.

The group changed names several times before becoming Destiny’s Child in 1996. Their self-titled debut album was released in 1998 including their platinum debut single, “No, No, No,” featuring Wyclef Jean.

In February 2000, LeToya and LaTavia were replaced by Michelle Williams and Farrah Franklin. Farrah left the group five months later.

Destiny’s Child: The Untold Story book and album is available on Knowles' website.
