A man in Fort Pierce turned $30 into $1 million.

Mark Valeo, 58, won a top prize in THE FASTEST ROAD TO $1,000,000 scratch-off game by the Florida Lottery.

Valeo bought the winning ticket from the Winn-Dixie store on South US 1 in Fort Pierce. The store will collect a $2,000 bonus for selling the winner.

Tickets cost $30. Valeo will get his winnings in a lump-sum payment of $790,000.

He’s not the only winner on the Treasure Coast. Someone bought a Fantasy 5 ticket worth $98,000 in Stuart on Wednesday.
