According to Page Six, the singer was found unresponsive on Saturday, then rushed to a New York City hospital. The 64-year-old was then “intubated” from Saturday evening to Sunday.
Furthermore, her tube was removed, and the singer was left “alert and recovering” with her daughter, Lourdes, at her bedside.
On Wednesday, Guy Oseary, Madonna’s manager, shared the news with the public via Instagram.
Oseary explained that the singer “developed a serious bacterial infection, ” prompting a “several day stay in the ICU.” Additionally, he explained that “her health is improving,” and she’s expected to make a “full recovery.” However, “she is still under medical care.”
