Lizzo was feeling the love all throughout her birthday week, which is why she is paying it forward to the fans who helped make her 33rd birthday extra special.
Sharing a serene video of her time relaxing at the beach set to Chloe George‘s “Ghost Town,” the Grammy winner expressed, “This has been the best birthday of all time.”
The video shows various scenes of her birthday trip, complete with her relaxing on the sandy beaches, rocking a series of killer looks, hugging friends and interacting with the various wildlife at her vacation spot.
“I love giving, and it’s so hard for me to receive. This year I finally accepted the love people have been waiting to give back to me,” Lizzo continued.
When explaining the importance of that mindset, the “Truth Hurts” rapper noted, “I know it’s not easy, but I *implore* you to allow yourself to be loved. The whole world is waiting to give you everything you deserve—you just have to open your arms.”
“Thank you to my friends and family and loved ones, you are all my soulmates I’m so glad to have you,” gushed Lizzo. “The best days of your life you don’t get twice— so let’s make more!”
