Rapper Lil Wayne is facing a gun charge in Miami.
According to the Miami Herald, the charge of possession of a firearm and ammunition as a convicted felon stems from a trip to Miami last December when federal agents searched a private jet at the Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport The rapper, whose real name is Dayne Michael Carter Jr., was a passenger on the plane.
Investigators found a gun and cocaine on the plane, according to a report in the Miami Herald.
The rapper faces up to 10 years in prison on the gun charge.
