Even though time is running out to get your Christmas gifts, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office has some last-minute advice for shoppers.

• You are advised to do the following:
• Don’t leave your purchases visible in your car
• Park your car near other vehicles
• Shop with family and friends
• Carry your purse across your chest
• If you have just a wallet, put it in your front pocket
• Stay off your cellphone and be aware
