The Robert Kraft family is pledging $1 million to local efforts promoting social justice causes.

The pledge was announced Friday on the New England Patriots team website.

$100,000 per month over the next 10 months will be donated to grassroots organization in collaboration with the team.

According to the black and white video statement, selected groups will be those “fighing for equity, working to end systemic racism and creating meaningful change in our community.”
