Love is in the air for Keyshia Cole and she’s not afraid to show it off. 

On Wednesday, the 39-year-old singer gave fans a glimpse into her love life by sharing a video of her showing off a hickey on neck. 

“Next time make it darker bae Issa vibe,” Cole wrote on the post, which she set to Coi Leray‘s “No More Parties.”

Following the post, critics took to social media, with most sharing that they thought the “Love” singer was too old for a love bite. 

Cole hit back at them, though, writing on Twitter, “How can you be too old for a hickey?”

She continued, “You [people] crazy. And whoever said it. [Eff] ya! #Respectfully.”

Later, after a fan clarified that she wasn’t too old for a hickey, but rather that they just don’t want to see it, the songstress added, “If I were regular would it have mattered?”

“Hey man. It is what it is. Love is in the air. And that’s ok,” she declared. “People be so caught up and judging…. which is fine. I no longer live for the world or my fans. I live FOR ME!”

As for who “bae” is, Cole hasn’t officially stated.
