Kenosha Shooter Kyle Rittenhouse Posts $2 Million Bail

Kyle Rittenhouse, the 17-year-old gunman accused of killing two protesters will not face charges in Illinois and has now been released on a $2 million bond after people helped raise money to get him out.

Rittenhouse’s attorney Lin Wood made the announcement on Twitter:

“KYLE RITTENHOUSE IS OUT OF JAIL. God bless ALL who donated to help #FightBack raise required $2M cash bail. Special thanks to Actor Ricky Schroder @rickyshroder1 & [My Pillow CEO] Mike Lindell @realMikeLindell for putting us over the top,” Wood tweeted.

Rittenhouse is charged with killing Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, and Anthony Huber, 26, on Aug. 25. He traveled from his home in Antioch, Ill., to Kenosha, Wis., where people were protesting the police shooting that paralyzed Jacob Blake.
